Abstract
The Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport of the University of Ljubljana has been successful in a joint partnership application to the call for standard projects 02/2023 of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia programme. The T4RAIL project started in April 2024 and will run for two years. The project activities pursue the objectives of stimulating the introduction of advanced technological innovations and the digitisation of processes in the railway sector and improving cross-border rail connections between Italy and Slovenia. The T4RAIL project aims at recording the shortcomings in the integration of national and regional transport systems in order to ensure more efficient cross-border mobility and modal shift of freight from congested roads to rail.
