The aim of the Disaster Journalism Project is to close the gap in journalism education by producing curriculum, guidebooks and digital materials related to disaster journalism. In this project, a course curriculum in journalism and media studies that does not yet exist at the international level will be developed and a new generation of guidebooks will be produced for journalists to use during disaster processes. This project aims to develop an innovative preventive training package and guidebook that will prepare journalism students and journalists working in the field for the problems they will encounter during disasters.
