Abstract
The Slovenian Centre for Circular Economy (SCKG) is a national project founded to foster Slovenia's transition to a circular economy. Throughits activities, it provides systemic support for the green transition, improving resource efficiency and promoting sustainable and innovative business models in the Slovenian economy.

The Slovenian Centre for Circular Economy (SCKG) plays a key role in Slovenia’s sustainable development. Its significance for the country includes: - Promoting the transition to a circular economy, reducing dependency on natural resources and minimizing waste. - Providing systemic support for the green transition, strengthening the environmental and energy sustainability of the Slovenian economy. - Improving resource efficiency, which increases the competitiveness of businesses and promotes more efficient use of materials. - Encouraging sustainable and innovative business models, creating new opportunities for enterprises and innovation. - Enhancing Slovenia’s economic and environmental resilience, supporting long-term development and alignment with European sustainability policies.
