Abstract
Phoenix 4.0 empowers businesses to exchange knowledge, embrace innovation, and adopt best practices that align with environmental stewardship and societal well being. It aims to catalyse a sector-wide shift towards more responsible and forward-thinking business models by offering trailored consultancy, fostering innovation, and encouraging the adoption of green technologies.
Significance for the country
The Phoenix 4.0 project is important for Slovenia as it strengthens digitalization, sustainability, and innovation in the tourism sector. By developing tools to enhance the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises and promoting the use of digital technologies and data, the project increases the competitiveness of Slovenian tourism, supports the adoption of sustainable practices, and enables connection with European initiatives. In the long term, it contributes to the development of a smart, resilient, and sustainably oriented economy.
