Abstract
The TREADS project aims to enhance vocational education and training (VET) for tourism professionals, especially within SMEs and micro-SMEs, to meet the evolving needs of the digital labor market. By developing tailored materials, it supports the digital transformation of the tourism sector, increasing awareness and resilience against digital and cyber risks.
Significance for the country
The TREADS project offers significant developmental benefits for Slovenia, as it strengthens vocational education and training for tourism professionals and supports the digital transformation of the tourism sector. The tailored learning materials enable small and micro enterprises to better adapt to digital changes and increase resilience against digital and cyber risks. This contributes to greater competitiveness of Slovenian tourism, fosters innovation and sustainable development, and enhances workforce readiness for the challenges of the modern labor market.
