Abstract
D3HUB - European Competence Centre is an ice-breaking strategic project that trives to support tourism destinations stakeholders - DMOs, SMEs, private&public organizations to start their data-driven green and digital transition. The project brings most prestigious partners around Europe (e.g. Ministry for Tourism Italy, NECSTouR,...) with associated partners (national statistic org., Slovenian Enterprise Fund,...) who have been trusted to fully implement the European Commission`s agenda to bring real data in the decision making in tourism.
Significance for the country
The company ARCTUR will co-develop the tourism destinations data hub, including the creation of a technical framework for sustainable and competitive tourism and the D3Hub dashboard. Additionally, ARCTUR leads the first phase of the project, which involves a field analysis of the Competence Centre Support Scheme, leveraging its expertise in the implementation and management of competence centres. Finally, ARCTUR will co-manage the project’s communication, dissemination, and networking activities.
