Abstract
As part of the "Person-centredness in Healthcare Curricula – PCCurric" project, researchers will develop an international curriculum for training healthcare professionals in a person-centred approach. They will achieve this by creating a set of topics/ content that supports healthcare curricula, defining learning outcomes and professional characteristics that meet the needs of healthcare education stakeholders in partner countries, and designing innovative strategies for evaluating curricula. The principles underlying the person-centered approach in practice are universal, but understanding the concept depends on the application of the principles in practice. The transnational approach to the project will contribute to the understanding of the concept of these principles and thus to a greater possibility that the principles underlying the person-centered approach will also be implemented in practice.
