Abstract
The DanubeCrafts project is focused on preserving, promoting, and sustainably revitalizing traditional crafts in the Danube region. Its key outcome is the development of the Traditional Crafts Route (TCR), which will connect local communities and cultural itineraries. The project aims to stimulate economic growth and create jobs, particularly in rural communities, by integrating crafts into thematic tourism. It establishes craft and tourism centres, develops a digital platform, and strives for European certification of the TCR as a cultural route
