Improving C-Balances in Organic Farms (EUKI2)

The goal of the project is to improve carbon sequestration on organic farms without livestock in Slovenia, Serbia, and Poland. The project examines practices such as cover crops, agroforestry systems, and organic pelletized fertilizers, with the aim of increasing soil organic carbon stocks. Our mission is to improve knowledge, build networks, and promote sustainable practices through demonstration trials, training, and support for decision-makers. Throughout the project, we will also create a collection of best-practice tools, including strategies, guidelines, and examples of good practices, which will be made available across Europe to maximize the project’s impact.
