Abstract
The ProDIAPER II project investigates the effect of the probiotic OMNI-BIOTIC® PANDA on the treatment of diaper rash in children through a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. The study will include 42 children, half of whom will receive a probiotic supplement for three weeks, while the other half will receive a placebo. During this period, skin condition and symptom relief will be monitored daily using an online questionnaire, and basic demographic data will also be collected. The aim of the project is to assess whether probiotics can contribute to faster healing, reduction of inflammation, and improvement in the quality of life of children with diaper rash, thereby offering a natural complementary option to existing treatment approaches.
