Abstract
The work of the research group follows the following directions: ? An algorithm for searching a minimal solution subgraph in AND/OR graphs with cycles was investigated. The motivation for top – down search was clarified and algorithm for searching was built. The application of AND/OR graphs in production planning, schedulling and control of project was investigated. ? Material requirement planning, although widely applied in practice, has been lacking a theoretical instrument for determining the main decision variables. Safety stock and safety lead time planning decisions has been studied in a general and more abstract way, using Laplace Transforms and Input – Output analysis. The research group of Faculty of Economics is strongly connected with the Linkoeping research group. ? Risk theory approach, which was implemented in inventory control was also studied in banking and finances.
