Abstract
Research programme comes out from present and future activities of collaborated members in a programme group. Fundamental investigations are going on and will be going on in the field of heat and mass transfer, especially in parts, which are crucial for understanding of transfer phenomenons in solids and fluids, such as different processes of energy transformation, heating and refrigeration with or without phase change. Modelling of processes will be supported and controlled with measurements on laboratory models and on commercial systems. Research group of Laboratory for refrigeration has foreseen next research program: - reducing of energy use for refrigerating devices in wide consumption, - efficient use of energy for refrigeration in air-conditioning, - improving of the heat transfer for increase in efficiencies of energy and process devices and their elements, - co-operation with ZAE Bayern in a European project of absorption refrigerating systems Research group for energy efficiency and environmental technique is active in the next fields: - effective use of energy in wide consumption compared with central European states - use of fossil fuels and wood biomass in Slovenia - supply of buildings with different energies and water - assurance of quality of residential and working conditions from the point of view of air quality and noise - harmonization of Slovenian technical legislation with EU regulations in field of energy efficiency In a research group of Laboratory for measurements in process mechanical engineering the main part of research will be oriented in numerical modelling and research of prototype and patented measurement equipment for direct measurements of mass flows and density of compressible and incompressible fluids. Measurement equipment will be planned in SMART or intelligent execution, meteorological defined and followed. Fundamental aim of all co-operative researches is to contribute to energy efficient, ecological faultless technological accomplished energy and process systems.
