Abstract
In the past the slovene area was an equal part of Europe. We can support this affirmation with the examination of:
a) sources (survey, selection, scientific critical issue of sources and correspondence);
b) historical topography (publication of historical names of places for slovene area, scientific critical publication of historical cartographical material);
c) economic history: examination of the integration of slovene area into the european: - transport connections and transport means
- trade
- agricultural economy
- craft activity and
- beginnings and developement of industrialisation;
d) population and its mobility, migrations, population near borders
e) - history of social structures (change of economical, social and political role of nobility, middle-class and agricultural population),
- analysis of state, country and municipial administration, with an emphasis on reforms and developement of parliamentarism,
- affirmation of slovene language equality and national independence
f) histories of civilization mobility (religions, ideas, education, wars)
The research work of the research program is based on material, wich is kept in archives, libraries and museums in the native country, in Slovenia, and abroad (Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt, Trieste, Udine, Venice, Rome, Munich, Tubingen, Stuttgart, Budapest, Zagreb, Paris etc.).
