Abstract
The purpose of this research project is to determine the compactibility of waste in various conditions (landfill height-load, temperature, moisture, technical solutions, composition of waste, pretreatment) with laboratory tests and with measurements and observations of the landfill. With this knowledge the available landfill space could be optimal used, technical measures for landfill stability could be determined as well as the most convenient technology of waste disposal.
