Abstract
The project is directed to research enhanced heat transfer techniques in one-phase flows without phase change (non-Newton fluids) and with phase change (boiling of new refrigerants). With use of enhanced heat transfer surfaces we reduce necessary temperature difference for equal heat flux and so we decrease entropy generation and increase exergy efficiency of heat exchanger. This is especially important for cooling of industrial fermentors, as well as for planning new generation of evaporators, where we assume useful result of the research.
