Abstract
The aim of the proposed project is to analyse the relationship between cognitive processes and their veichles, seen both from the historical viewpoint and from the viewpoint of contemporary approaches of cognitive science. Beside an attempt to provide an answer to the classical mind - body problem the main topics and areas of the projects are consciousness and qualia, theory of meaning and different approaches to cognitive modeling as well as the role of consciousness and mind in scientific modeling of space-time structures of reality.
