Abstract
A project comprehends a development of procedures and algorithms for calculation of train run dynamics and for train deployment and scheduling on the basis of the intervals of sequential train departure, which are suitable for computer implementation. Train run dynamics calculation applies physical models employing reduced data on track configuration thus giving the daynamics parameters for an arbitrary point in time or space. Calculation model incorporates the influence of traffic regulations, track construction and technical fittings of the track. The development extends over a definition of new methods for determination of transport capacity of railway tracks in trains and in tonnes depending on the category of track and signaling and safety equipment. The procedures serve as the platform for implementation of a computer program for running train run simulations, interactive timetable construction and executing the analyses as a practical goal of the project.
