Abstract
Clinical information system for collecting, reviewing and processing of chronic wound healing data will be set-up. The core of the system will be an expert system for time to complete wound closure prediction based on patient, type of treatment, wound and weekly followup data. System will be tested on clinical data of chronic wound healing collected during the study. Results will be used to assess reliability of the system. Our final goal is to develop web application, which will help clinicians to choose appropriate treatment and thus to improve patient's care and reduce cost of hospitalization.
