Abstract
Aim of the study is to evaluate effects of psychotropic drugs on the cardiovascular system and on the electrocardiogram (ECG) and its clinical relevance in psychiatric patients. Many antipsychotics and antidepressants have the potential for causing orthostatic hypotension, changes in the T vave on ECG and the elongation of QT interval. We will evaluate adverse effetcs of most frequently prescibed drugs.
