Abstract
The goal of the proposed project is to develop an expert system, that will enable a rapid engineering of motor control systems. The activities included into the project cover the following tasks: a) development of a generic induction motor control hardware system, on which basis a rapid development of the systems, specified by the customers, will be possible in the future, b) implementation, analysis and testing of previously proposed methods of induction motor control where more attention will be put into sensorless systems, c) research and potential breakthroughs with new or improved methods in the area of low speed, sensorless induction motor control. On the basis of the achieved results the project will be concluded with the development of an expert system, that will with its features of automatic code generation enable rapid development of custom designed systems.
