Abstract
The post-doctoral project is an interdisciplinary project in the realm of philosophy of aesthetics and new media theory. The post-doctoral project is focused, on one side, on the re-elaboration of the visible, the gaze and the body in Merleau-Ponty''s philosophy through the works of J. Lacan, M. Jay, N. Bryson etc. On the other, which is a kind of a novum in the context of the Slovenian modern philosophy, the project re-elaborate the visible, the gaze and the body in Merleau-Ponty''s philosophy in relation to new media technologies/virtual reality, cyberspace/ and theoretical worky by Scott Bukatman, Machiko Kusahara, Slavoj Zizek, etc.
The interdisciplinary project results will be published in a form of a book.
