Abstract
The project has three main objectives: to form the theoretical basis for the production of the multilingual corpus of professional language; to create a Slovene-Italian-English corpus of tourist-advertising texts; to carry out an analysis of these texts from the theoretical standpoints of intercultural pragmatics, theory of translation, critical discourse analysis and terminological field. The research will be assisted by the use of the multilingual corpus of tourist texts whose results could represent the initial phase of the tourist terminological dictionary. Furthermore, it will indicate the close connection between the tourist discourse and the appraisal of Slovene natural and cultural heritage.
