Abstract
Project proposal adress the problem of chronologically based methods for power systems planning analyses. For developing models of those specific system elements that are not easily defined in mathematical terms, a new modeling approach is proposed based on application of articial intelligence techniques, such as neural networks and genetic algorithms.
