Abstract
Molecular mechanisms underlaying hepatic drug induction through xenosensors and the cross talk with endogenous lipid metabolism are still unclear. This project will study the receptor-protein complexes of transcription factors interacting with xenosensors and their post-transcriptional modifications. Proposed postdoctoral project is embeded into the FP6 STREP EU project Steroltalk. It will contribute to the holistic picture on the signalling complexes that compose the network regulating drug metabolism and sterol homeostasis at the level of proteome.
