Abstract
Slovenia needs affirmative approach to the study of immigrants' children; advantages of immigration should be studied, as this is the only way to the shaping up of plural society, common to all ethnic groups.
The research study aims to ascertain whether there are differences between the social status of immigrants' children and that of majority population, and which are the social spheres facing social inclusion/exclusion. It also aims to define reasons of social exclusion.
