Abstract
In our post-doctoral project entitled "Philosophy of Law: A Comparative - Historical Perspective" we would like to present development of some fundamental legal-philosophical notions and concepts in a Greek, Jewish and Christian tradition, and to show some cruical differencies, as well as similarities between approaches to the law in the traditions of Athens, Jerusalem and Rome. Every religion has an importat impact on morality and on law - and this relation will also be subject of our research. We will be trying to place these relations in a wider cultural and social context of Greek, Jewish, and Christian tradition - all influenced so much to our modern philosophy and social thought.
