Abstract
Base of principles of unified meta language, which describes syntactic, semantic, grammatical etc. structures of any natural language and is for creation of simpler algorithm for machine multilanguage translation system requires. Base and test of experimental version of structural meta language for machine translation system from Slovenian language to Russian and back.
Significance for science
Global integration of internal and external markets of all countries, globalization of them and their further development are organically connected to the rotation of the enormous flow of information in the different languages of many countries all around the world, that need to be processed (translated, analyzed) in the shortest time, in real time. Rapid development of the internet, communication networks and technologies, which combined users from different parts of the world into a single IT community, has continued to increase speed requirements to provide multilingual translation. All this as a great chain reaction promotes the development of information industry, in which plays one of the main role machine translation technology.
Today are else already accessible numerous translators, that use for (half)machine translation of documents or of web pages from one language to another , however they are restricted to large world languages usually, they work only between individual couple of languages, systems for every couple of languages are selld sindividually at which, which assures on the one hand larger profit, on the other hand (side of consumer) it means larger cost.
Integration E-speranto into web applications will make possible immediate display of documents, which are written in E-speranto, in the chosen natural language, also in so »exotic« like for example Vietnamese or Slovenian, in the real time. Need for computer translators for couples of languages can be so reduced with this elementarily. For the small nations or ethnic group is development of E-speranto interpreter much more realistic task, as development and making of numerous translators for some natural languages.
Significance for the country
Numerous machine translation tools designed for translation of web pages too, feast more or less related ideas, as e.g. about semantic web, DLT (Distributed Language Translation), Montague grammar, UNL (Universal Networking Language) and others, that try to work out the problem of (electronic) mutual multilingual communicating in different ways, is proving, that it is the task, which we set in our project, more than actual.
Further development of E-speranto formal deklarative language for record and processing of data for multilingual translation, that enables to present semantic meaning in form of universal grammatical and semantic models, and create E-speranto interpreters which can on the base of analysis of these universal models and in connection with semantic and linguistic dictionaries of E-speranto and of natural languagesto generate semantic adequate and grammatically correct sentences in some natural languages, that are integrated in the sistem, that means breakthrough within rescuing of burning problems of web multilingual communications and can rise slovenian science to the world leaders on this field.
