Abstract
Thin film solar cells are a very perspective alternative to conventional energy sources. The research activities of the proposed project will cover the analysis of amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) and CIGS (Cu(InGa)Se2) thin film solar cells. In a-Si:H solar cells, stacked structures will be investigated with special attention paid to contact and internal heterojunctions with included microcrystalline silicon layers. In CIGS solar cells, alternative emitter layers will be studied.
