Abstract
Project is dealing with condition monitoring and diagnostics of induction motor drives which is becoming very significant nowadays. Demands for high quality and reliability of industrial drives are increasing. In order to prevent unexpected failure of the drive motor, all its characteristic parameters must be measured with on-line non-invasive methods and the existence of the potentialy fault can be predicted in advance. On the basis of theoretical research, mathematical modelling, computer simulation and experimental tests some new algorithms and methods for diagnostics of induction motor faults will be proposed. They will enable realisation of the expert system for automatic recognition the kind, location and severity of the fault.
