Abstract
The proposal is meant to address the problem of lack and different educational programs in bioethics in hospital setting in Europe. Aim of the project is to develop a network of European hospitals sharing the same teaching and training methodology on clinical bioethics. Objectives of the project are:1) to survey the current experiences of educational programmes in various western and eastern European countries;2) to elaborate a model of basic bioethics course;3) to test the model in 10 participating countries;4) to validate the model and to produce a textbook. The expected results are: increased knowledge about bioethics actives in European hospitals; an acquired formative model on clinical bioethics; a shared approach and didactic tools for clinical bioethics in European hospitals.
