Abstract
An analyst needs to have a lot of experiences and knowledge to overcome the bottlenecks that occur during the engineering analysis using Finite Element Methods (FEM). As the alternative to the conventional methods a development of an Expert System (ES) for overall support to the key decisions within the analysis process is the goal of the project. ES application should increase the effectiveness and enable less experienced user to get qualitative results of the analysis.
