Abstract
Polyaniline consists of three basic units, e.g. completely reduced leucoemeraldine base, partly oxidised emeraldine base and completely oxidised pernigraniline base. Beside these, some defective structures can be formed which influence the molecular weight, the electrical conductivity, the solubility and the formation of film. The properties of polyanilines depend on the share of individual units and theirs sequence distribution in the chains. The possibility of the formation of film depends mostly on the quantity of the emeraldine base. In this work, the influence of polymerization conditions, transformation into individual chemical form and doping technique on the structure and electrical conductivity of polyanilines will be systematically investigated using 600 MHz high power solution and solid state multinuclear one and two dimensional NMR spectroscopy and impendance spectroscopy.
