Abstract
The proposed research probes two open questions in particle physics: unitarity of the CKM matrix and the existence of the Higgs boson. The first area of research activity will help to either confirm predictions of the Standard Model or point to an inconsistency in the description of particles world with only three generations of quarks. The second research field is devoted to a search for the Higs bosons. In several theoretical models these bosons are responsible for the mass of all other elementary particles, hence the experimental tests of their existence have an essential role in understanding fundamental forces in nature.
