Abstract
The research work will include the study of the expansion, taxonomic problems and ecology of the underground and spring snails belonging to the origin Zospeum, Belgrandiella, Bythinella and subgenus Bythiospeum (Iglica) in Bythiospeum (Paladilhiopsis) (Carychiidae, Hydrobiidae: Gastropoda) and underground beetles (Trechinae, Bathyscinae, Staphylinidae, Leptidinae in Curculionidae, Coleoptera) in the alpine area of Slovenia. The research work will be a part of the programme of the European alpine countries showing the same topics.
