Abstract
In the system metal - carboxylic acid the characterization of new carboxylates and some of derivatives with biological activity will be attempted. They will be characterised with chemical-physicochemical methods and by X-ray structural data. We will try to show the possible correlations between chemical, structural and biological behaviours of the synthesized compounds. The established chemical knowledge and biological tests strongly suggest the possible industrial application.
