Abstract
The project deals with evolutionary algorithms for numerical and combinatorial optimisation. It is based on a hypothesis that the performance of the existing algorithms can be improved through statistical analysis of a search space, hybridisation of heuristic search techniques and use of real test data. The aim of the research is to develop efficient algorithms applicable in process parameter optimisation, production scheduling and dynamic systems control.
