In this article, we present important design considerations for low noise analog signal processing electronics together with appropriate DSP algorithms that make possible to achieve the sensitivity of the electronic detection system better than 0.04 aF/√Hz for the array of comb capacitive sensors. It is possible to reach the sensitivity better than 0.3ppt target molecules (RDX) in N2 carrier gas. The detection system is composed of array of differently modified sensors, and array of detection electronics. It is possible to measure the responses of the array of 64 differently modified sensors in real time.
