Meeting the challenge of ageing in the EU

The report from the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) responds to the recent publication by the EU Commission of The Ageing Report 2018 (AR18) and the Pension Adequacy Report 2018 (PAR18). https://actuary.eu/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Meeting-the-challenge-of-ageing-FINAL.pdf In 2019 prof. ddr. Bogataj became the Elected Representative of the Slovenian Actuarial Association at the Health Committee of the International Actuarial Society. The works in the Mortality Task Force in AAE and in the Health Committee of the International Actuarial Society have become his essential occupation in Europe, where the topics on ageing workforce has become essential for his research and consulting papers preparing for the European Commission.
