The ARRS project was presented at the Annual Meeting of the International Consortium on Landslides (ICL, Kyoto, Japan) that was held in Paris in November 2017. The project was positively evaluated and as such it gained the status of an active project IPL-226 of the International Programme on Landslides (IPL) - http://iplhq.org/category/iplhq/iplongoing-project/.

This project (financed by Ministry of the environment and spatial planning) focuses on the observation of large slope mass movements that represent direct risk for the underlying settlement of Koroška Bela. With this risk in mind the multidisciplinary monitoring approach research using engineering geological, hydrogeological, geophysical and geomechanical and geodetic monitoring system was applied. The established monitoring system consists of 7 boreholes equipped with inclinometers (2) and piezometers (2), periodical estimation of surface movement pattern using UAV photogrammetry and LiDAR data. By using geophysical measurements we were able to define a detail geological setting, reconstruct the geometry of landslide body and estimate the thickness of sliding material. Additionally, samples were taken from the boreholes to analyse geomechanical properties of the sliding material.
