Dr. Jelnikar was asked to give a key-note address at a conference dedicated to Rabindranath Tagore and Sr. Nivedita, and she used this opportunity to critically explore how two such different minds from different parts of the world were able to meet against the backdrop of various mental trajectories of the 19th-century and early 20th century colonial Bengal.
