In the International conference on materials chemistry, organized by Royal society of chemistry, we presented the results of syntheses and characterization of new material for potential application in humidity indication, based on mesoporous SiO2 materials with different pore diameter and selective functionalized surface. The impact of materials properties on the humidity indicating function were presented as well.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 2474599The conference was organized by the Slovenian industry Jub d.o.o. and researchers from research institutions and faculties presented their research work. The presented idea of our research group entitled as Development of indicators for indoor environment, which also include the development of the relative humidity indicator, developed in the scope of this postdoctoral project, was awarded.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2501991In the time period between 18/03/2019 and 19/04/2019, I performed part of my research work in the research group of prof. dr. Martínez Manez at IDM Institute (Interuniversity research institute for molecular recognition and technological development). The institute is part of the Department of Chemistry, Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. The group is focused in the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous SiO2 particles for application in sensors and drug delivery.
F.02 Acquisition of new scientific knowledge
In the scope of this international conference, organized by European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS), we presented syntheses of mesoporous SiO2 materials with variation in synthesis parameters. The impact of those parameters on the morphological and structural properties of mesoporous SiO2 particles was investigated.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 2401383In the scope of the master's thesis, performed under the work-mentorship of the project leader, the student investigated the influence of covalent bonding of methyl groups on the outer surface of mesoporous silica materials, on the structural, chemical and morphological properties of materials. Additionally, the impact of these properties on the color responsiveness of the indicator has been studied.
