In the life sciences, many advances can be directly traced to the development of each new separation method. Applying supercritical fluids may overcome the drawbacks of several conventional processes for processing and formulation of products. Gaseous substances beyond a specific temperature and pressure (the critical point) become a supercritical fluid.Belinka Perkemija d.o.o. manufactures a wide variety of hydrogen peroxide with different peroxide grades. Production of hydrogen peroxide by the Belinka Perkemija d.o.o is based on the anthraquinone process that is an ideal target for high-pressure technology involving supercritical CO2. Currently we are developing an environmentally friendly cleaning process of hydrogen peroxide with supercritical CO2. The results show a significant decrease in concentration of organic matter from crude hydrogen peroxide. To manufacture of a high purity hydrogen peroxide with less energy consumption and residuals from a commercial grade is significantly important for the hydrogen peroxide production company in order to be competitive in the market. High-pressure purification is safe and environmentally friendly process with low energy consumption, with an ability to shift production towards sustainable development
