We presented the results of the modeling of mineral fiber composites incorporating nano-structured materials. We described the thermal conductivity with seven different models. We have described a cell for testing the thermal conductivity, which is inserted into a heat flow meter with which we will measure the thermal conductivity of samples.

During the preparation, we changed various parameters, such as the type of filler, the amount of filler, the density of the composite… The behavior of the thermal conductivity was best described by a two-component model of the geometric mean.

COBISS.SI-ID: 15652099We present experimental results for different possibilities of introducing a nano-structured filler into a loose batt of mineral fibers by a wet process. We have described the method and amount of filler that can be introduced into the fiber set in this way. We presented the morphology of the composites and the adhesion of the filler and binder to the fibers and the surface of the added dry binder. Thermal and mechanical properteis of the prepared samples were characterized.
