The FKKT UM team, in collaboration with scientists from the UK and China, has devised a new approach to identifying viruses and bacteria that could speed up the identification of the exact type of infection. This also applies to COVID-19, where waiting for a smear result is particularly problematic. The findings of this group of researchers were recently published in the scientific publication Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA with an impact factor close to 10.
