The exhibition tells the life story of Dr Branislava Sušnik, a Slovene ethnologist, anthropologist and ethno-linguist, who at the end of World War Two was pushed by historical events into a new, completely different cultural environment. The exhibition presents her key works and expeditions among the Paraguayan indigenous peoples. At the same time, it tells the story of the Chaca indigenous communities and about the east Paraguayan forests and savannahs on which she focused most of her research. She had many talents, which she united in her professional work in three main fields: museology, research and pedagogical work.
