Coordination of COOT, TP Water and proct SARIB

Among the most prominent achievements of the programme group in the year 2005 is the coordination of the “Environmental Technologies” Centre of Excellence; part of the EU structural funds that connects 19 partners form industry and academic institutions (www.coot.si). Part of this category is also the management of the Slovenian water technology platform (www.tpvode.si) and the coordination of the EU project SARIB.

The “Jozef Stefan” Institute, in cooperation with the National Institute of Biology, organised a symposium on sediment-water interactions. The meeting took place in Bled from 2 September to 28 August 2005 and hosted 150 participants.
