In 2005 the first issue was publishe. In years 2006, 2007 and 2008 two issues per year were published. This international Journal titled International Journal of Dynamics of Fluids gives opportunity to Slovenian researchers to be part of scientific process of attracting, reviewing and publishing current state of fluid mechanics and heat transfer world class research. The Editor in Chief is red. prof. dr. Leopold Škerget while red. prof. dr. Matjaž Hriberšek and izr. prof. dr. Jure Marn are Associate Editors. COBISS.SI-ID: 9875734The PhD thesis titled Multidomain boundary element method for two equation turbulence models by Matjaž Ramšak Has been nominated by CEACM as finalist in the selection process to the ECOMASS Ph.D. Award to the best Ph.D. Thesis of 2004 on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering. The doctoral thesis presents a multidomain boundary element method (further 'BEM') for solving a general diffusion convective transport problem using variable diffusivity. The BEM is relatively young approximation method originated from late seventies. Soon BEM becomes a widely accepted for laminar

COBISS.SI-ID: 59971585For the region of Styria the integrated waste management program was prepared. The program is composed of phases of separate collection, logistics, processing in treatment centers and mechanical, biological and thermal processes that are included in rounded up, integral and regionally concluded waste treatment system. The processes of collection, transportation, treatment and disposal are foreseen for all waste streams and the complete amount of waste.

COBISS.SI-ID: 12196630A new computer aided measurement system for inward leakage detection of plate evaporator has been developed in colaboration with Gorenje Indop. The system has been integrated into the refrigerator components production line in Gorenje Mekom, Rogatec, and it has sucessfully replaced the old destruction-based control method. 100 % control is, therefore, possible.
