There is approximately 10-15 t/ha fresh mass of leaves and vine left after hop harvest. In 2007 an experiment was conducted to compare composting this material with addition of Vitalor (product based on active bacteria) with composting without (control). Plant available phosphorus content was increased more in the heap with Vitalor. Plant available potassium and magnesium contents stayed at the same level after half of year composting without Vitalor and increased in the heap with addition of Vitalor. Nitrate content was increased a lot; by 30-times at control and 38-times in Vitalor heap.

These two peptides were expressed in different heterologous expression systems and characterised in its interactions with DNA molecules at different temperatures. We have studied dependance of thermal stability of different DNA molecules regarding to different concentrations of NaCl, bovine histones and Alba proteines. Characterization was made with UV-, fluorescent- and CD-spectroscopy, gel shift assay, surface plasmon resonance and differential scanning calorimetry.

COBISS.SI-ID: 3528568The chapter reviews recent research on biosensors with application of photothermal detection, working mechanism and historical development of photothermal detectors (thermal lens spectrometry, photoacoustic spectrometry, optothermal radiometry and photothermal beam deflection spectrometry) from 1965 on, when laser was invented, is described. The importance and applicability of various biosensors with the most commonly used active substances of biosensors is presented.
F.11 Development of a new service
COBISS.SI-ID: 3576184Mineral is a Slovenian product, made by certain procedure out of mineral water. It contains 75 minerals. It is used for watering and spraying plants in mixture with water. The investigation was conducted to test incorporation of this product in conventional production of hops cv. Celeia and to test it in ecologic production of hops. Although the results are preliminary (first year of investigation), ecologic production with Mineral was shown as promising; without mineral fertilizers and plant protection products 1200 kg/ha hops was produced in that year.
