Thyropin is very effective against gut proteases of insects. We showed that recombinant equistatin is able to destroy Colorado beetle larvae and to decrease its replication significantly. This approach could significantly decrease the use of classical insecticides. This patent enables the transfer of our knowledge to industrial partners.

COBISS.SI-ID: 213404672"Biološka zdravila" is the first book in the Slovene language to present a complete coverage of the biological drugs used in clinical practice. It provides the methods for their design, preparation, isolation, analysis and delivery. Regulatory aspects are also included, as well as an index of registered drugs. The book was mainly written and prepared by the members of our programme group.

Eminent lecturers attend the conference, which is becoming well established and known internationally.
