ICSI cycles with testicular sperm concerned 107 men with non-obstructive azoospermia, 72 with obstructive azoospermia and 41 with aspermia. Fertilization depended positively on Johnsen score and on the type of ovarian stimulation. Blastocyst development was predicted positively by the number of injected oocytes and negatively by male FSH. More blastocysts developed after the use of frozen-thawed sperm in comparison to fresh sperm. Female age and blastocysts influenced pregnancy and live births. Embryo culture to day 5 in comparison to day 2 did not increase live births.
